Product Overview

Lightbits Labs LightOSTM is simple, flexible, software-defined, highly performant storage that accelerates applications in private and edge clouds running in bare metal, containerized, or virtual environments. It’s a clustered, NVMe-based, scalable, block storage system that runs on standard TCP/IP networks. LightOS delivers composable, scale-up or scale-out, redundant NVMe/TCP storage that performs like a local flash.

5 Nodes in 3U Rackspace
Yowie CL-5340 appliances powered with Cloudian Hyperstore come in 3U 5 Node chassis with 40 drives and with various pre-configured capacities from 41TB up to 161TB. The novel chassis design provides unparalleled density that saves rack space and reduces power consumption. The Yowie 5300-series is available as an all-flash NVMe variant and you can choose between a 3-year or 5-year licence period including hardware and software support for all models.

ScaleFlux SSDs provide a breakthrough in enterprise and data center SSD capability

ScaleFlux write reduction technology not only enhances drive-level performance, endurance, reliability, and efficiency, but also yields improvements at the system, rack, and data center-level. Very simply, writing less to the NAND lets the drive do more – more IOPs, more endurance, more power efficiency.

An innovative solution that keeps immersion cooling liquid inside closed cassettes. This solution takes away most of the practical objections data centres have against most common immersion cooling solutions. By using closed cassettes each device is individually packaged resulting in no open “baths” or “tanks” on the datafloor, so no slippery liquid can be spoiled.

By isolating the devices, they can be managed individually, just like regular servers. So this doesn’t require a change in workflow. Where the regular, common solutions interfere with existing infrastructure in terms of airflow and 19″-racks that are already in place, this solution can be fitted right into existing racks. This way, the millions of racks already out there can still be used.
